Not so depressing today
the grey was begining to clear by 12

and by 5
there were
blue skies and interesting speeding clouds
and it was slightly warm

this is how it was today
inside cloud greyness, damp misty rain and camera faults
depressing
which makes me feel brave to upload it

28th September 2009

interestingly
this was the bluest view out of my window all day
the rest of the day was grey...
as i looked at the sky i noticed the cloud in the centre
that was much lower and was zooming along at some speed
27 seconds and it was gone from my view

Grey today but no rain, at least not that i saw
whereas in Manila typhoons flood vast areas

today was a beautiful day, Edinburgh is truly awesome

or so it feels
fortunately its Friday so no work for a few days

So today is Thursday,
The view from my office window was pretty grey
or so i thought until i took this and realised that there was lots of blue
although it was only around briefly as the clouds
were whipped along by the wind

Today the winds had calmed down some what but were still blowing
The above shot was just before noon and the one below
was snapped from the car as i sat at traffic lights at noon
interesting contrast

I got involved in work today and 12 passed
without me noticing
however when i did, some time after two, i took these
similar i think to what was around at twelve seeing as
the clouds were speeding through the sky today

Today is an Edinburgh holiday
its good to hava an extra day off
alas the weather was grey
none of those lovely cirrus clouds today



i found these on line,
having seen the prints in Flat Cat gallery on Saturday
they are trees and footbridges and i like them

the winter and empty trees draws near

20th September 2009

at noon i was being driven over to Culross by Juliet
where we had a lovely lunch and took lots of photo's
so this shot was nearer one than twelve



at four thirty i came out of Sainsburys
and wow
the sky was amazing
my favourite wispy cirrus and lots of space to see them in
awesome

19th September 2009

Today noon was spent in Hawick
where it was grey and damp..
It cleared on the way back to Edinburgh and these clouds/jetstreams
were around seven
very cool

Grey today
i was hopeful that the blue of the early morning
would break back through
but to no avail



and as i waited on the lights changing i took this image of the men at work in the road
hopefully they'll be finished soon

9 Days - 9th - 17th September 2009

these are the noon or there abouts clouds for the past nine days
interesting?
i think so
i've now decided that i definately do prefer blue days
and i do like the fluffy cloud's
but so far none of my favourite
whipped, combed, wispy cirrus clouds

beautiful soft clouds and blue sky
it wasn't exactly warm but it looked great today
more than cheery

on the way home i took these images
great definition, colour and light as the sun hung low in the sky

At noon
it was cloudy
although there was a little definition in the greyness
caused by the sun trying to break through
